Master of Arts in Art Education (MAAE)
When pursuing an Art Education Degree, the School of the Art Institute of Chicago offers valuable educational opportunities. Through their Master of Arts in Art Education (MAAE) program, you can learn social justice pedagogical practices, collaborative and socially engaged art practices, curriculum design, museum education, and more.
Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) program
There’s more than one art education degree available at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. SAIC’s Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) program is approved by the Illinois State Board of Education and meets current requirements for the State of Illinois PK-12 Visual Arts Professional Educator License. Through this program, students earn the ability to teach art in a variety of spaces.
