The DMDC may be something you’ve never heard of, but it’s an entity that affects many of the military personnel who serve our great country. The DMDC stands for the Defense Manpower Data Center. The DMDC works under the Office of the Secretary of Defense and collects all data for the Department of Defense. This includes military personnel information, financial records, manpower and training. The DMDC also tracks all health records of active military members’ families.

Understanding the Benefits and Regulations of the Servicemembers Civil Relief Act

The United States does what it can to help the men and women who volunteer to serve their country in the U.S. military and to give them certain benefits in exchange for their service. There are a few ways in which the U.S. government does this but one of the biggest ways the government has taken action to help protect these service men and service women is through the Servicemembers Civil Relief Act, or the SCRA. The Servicemembers Civil Relief Act was put in action in 2003 and was a complete revamping of the Soldiers’ and Sailors’ Civil Relief Act that was put in place in 1940. The act helps to protect those who are in active military duty or who have been in active military duty in the past year, get protection against many civil actions.
